This speculative project came to fruition in 2015. A developer investment firm had SMCD seek out the right property to create a niche luxury single family home to sell into Steamboat’s local real estate market. The site was technical in nature and had to be leveled off creating a significant amount of earth work to get the foundation installed and fit the site appropriately. The design process was built around an efficient floor plan with an upper-level living area. The project filled a niche within the market and was sold months before completion. Our in-house interior designer was able to work with the owner to furnish the home and customize the inside. The sale of this home represented one of the highest per-square-foot sales price in 2016 in the local Steamboat real estate market. Upon completion the owners hired Soda Mountain Maintenance to maintain the property.
